Save posts

A useful post does not have to be a sales lead.

How to use it

  1. Open X, LinkedIn, Instagram or YouTube with the extension installed
  2. Find a post from or about a company
  3. Press Save on the post
  4. Pick a label, add a note if you want, and press Save

It appears in Saved leads within a second. The industry is filled in once the post has been analysed.

Capture the source

Use the injected save control on a supported post. The extension reads available text, author, media, and source details. Saving does not run a model or spend a Research credit.

Choose a label

The save popover asks for a label. Keep a potential customer as a lead, an announcement as news, or a useful reference as an insight.

Keep your own context

Add or edit remarks so the reason for saving the post is easy to recover. Search your collection later rather than repeatedly copying links into other tools.

What's in the popover

Label lists your workspace's labels, with a + to create a new one on the spot. Brands shows names it spotted in the post, and its + lets you type another. Remarks / Note is optional; press Enter in it to save straight away. Cancel closes without saving. If you click away from a popover you haven't touched, it closes and you'll see Not saved. Once you've picked a label or typed something, a stray click won't throw it away.

Saving something twice

Once a post is in your list, its button reads Saved. If you press it again, the popover says the post is already saved and that saving again adds a second copy.

Leads without a Save button

Not every lead comes from a post. In My Dashboard, + Add lead takes a company you heard about on a call. Only the company name is required; a website, a link, a label and notes are optional. On Power and Business you can also right-click any other page and choose Save this page (see Any other page).

How many saves you get

Free includes 50 saves a month, and Solo, Power and Business have unlimited saves. A lead you add by hand counts as a save. On a site your plan doesn't include, pressing Save tells you which plan covers it instead of saving. Every site and its plan is on the sources page.

Common questions

Does saving spend Research credits?

No. Saving, labelling and reading never spend credits. Only pressing Research on a company does.

Do I need the side panel open to save?

No. You need to be signed in, but the panel can stay closed. If you're signed out, the button asks you to sign in from the side panel first.

What if I pick the wrong label?

Change it later with the pencil on the row in My Dashboard or the Feed, or click the label on the card in the side panel. See Labels, brands, and remarks.

Does it save the whole post?

It keeps the text on screen (up to 4,000 characters), the author, the link back and images where the site shows them. What gets saved lists every kind of save.
