Install the extension
Put a save button beside the posts you already read.
How to use it
- Open Save This Lead on the Chrome Web Store
- Click Add to Chrome and confirm
- Pin Save This Lead from the puzzle-piece menu
- Open its side panel and sign in
Chrome keeps the extension up to date by itself.
Get the extension
Install it from the Chrome Web Store. It is free to add; the plan you pick decides which sites get a Save button.
If the Web Store is not an option
In Edge, Brave or Arc the Web Store usually works too. If it does not, download the ZIP from the download page, extract it into a permanent folder, open the browser's extensions page, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the folder containing manifest.json.
chrome://extensionsOpen your workspace
Open the side panel and sign in. The side panel and the dashboard at /app/dashboard show the same workspace.
Supported platforms
Desktop Chrome. A Save button appears inside 181 sites: social platforms (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Facebook, TikTok and 18 creator, community and podcast sites), 45 news publishers, newsletters and article sites, 50 launch and review sites, developer platforms such as GitHub and Hugging Face, AI libraries, the Meta, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok ad libraries, Sales Navigator, Crunchbase, Google Maps, job boards, event pages, and Gmail and other webmail. On seven AI tools a Save icon sits under each answer. Any other page saves by right-click. Free covers X, YouTube and Instagram; each plan adds sites (see Where you can save). Other browsers are untested.
After you install, refresh open tabs
A tab that was already open before you installed won't show the Save button until you refresh it once (Ctrl+R, or Cmd+R on a Mac). Tabs you open afterwards get it on their own. The same goes for every update.
Signing in
Sign in with Google, or with an email and password. It's one account: the side panel and the dashboard at /app/dashboard show the same workspace. If you open the dashboard in a browser that doesn't have the extension, it asks you to add it first, and Continue without the extension lets you look around anyway.
Updating to a new version
Installed from the Chrome Web Store, it updates by itself; the bottom of the side panel shows the build you're running. Installed from the ZIP, download the new ZIP, replace the files in the same folder, then press the reload button on the Save This Lead card at chrome://extensions. Refresh any tab that was already open so it picks up the new version.
Common questions
Is it on the Chrome Web Store?
Yes. Add it from the Chrome Web Store and Chrome updates it for you. A ZIP is still on the download page for browsers where the store does not work.
The Save button doesn't show up. What do I check?
Refresh the tab once, then check that the site is on your plan. Free covers X, YouTube and Instagram. Troubleshooting covers the rest.
How do I know which version I have?
The side panel shows the build number at the bottom, and the extension's card at chrome://extensions shows it too.
Does it work in Edge, Brave or Firefox?
Only desktop Chrome is supported. Other browsers are untested.
