Documentation Where you can save

How to save leads from Developer platforms

A GitHub organisation or an npm package belongs to a company. Save it from the repository page and the owner goes into your list. Included on Power and higher.

How to use it

  1. Open a repository, model, package or organisation page
  2. Press Save beside its name
  3. Confirm the company (the owner)

The company lands in Saved leads within a second.

What to save on Developer platforms

Developer tools are sold to the people who already use something similar. A company's public repositories show its stack, and a popular package shows a team with users to support. Save the organisation page when you want the company, or a single repository when that project is the reason.

Where the Save button appears

A Save button beside the repository, model or package name on GitHub, Hugging Face, GitLab, npm, PyPI and Docker Hub. It also appears on an organisation's own page.

What gets saved

The owner and project name, the description, the link, and the owner's website and social profiles when the page shows them.

What is never saved

Code, files, issues, stars, download counts and anything in a private repository. Nothing is starred, forked or followed.

How not to use it

Save a project just because you use it. Save the one whose owner you want to sell to or track.

Common questions

Which plan do I need for developer platforms?

Power or higher. The Free plan covers X, YouTube and Instagram only.

Does it post or act on my accounts?

No. It never posts, likes, follows or messages from your accounts, and it never opens tabs or browses on its own. It reads a page when you click Save.

Where do saves from developer platforms go?

Into Saved leads in your dashboard and in the side panel, filed under the company you confirm. They appear within a second.

What if the Save button doesn't appear on developer platforms?

Check that the extension is enabled and that you're on a supported page, then reload it. If a site has changed its layout, the button can go missing until we update the reader. Troubleshooting shows how to check each site's recent success rate.
