On Radar CRM
Keep qualified opportunities separate from your reading list.
How to use it
- Open Market Intel and set the filters you care about
- Press Save as radar and name it
- Leave alerts on
- Open On Radar to see what has matched since
New matches appear with a dot on On Radar. A company only ever alerts once per radar.
Follow up deliberately
Give a lead a status, owner, note, and follow-up date. The customer implementation saves row edits directly rather than requiring a separate Save action.
Due today and history
The Due-today view includes overdue work and excludes won or lost leads. Activity history records status, owner, and date changes, plus that a note changed without duplicating its body.
Plan access
On Radar CRM is not on Free. It is included on Solo, Power and Business.
Two things live here
The top of On Radar is Your radars: saved Market Intel filters, with the companies that newly match them under New matches. Below that are people. Pressing Research on a company puts the contacts it finds here, and + Add lead adds one by hand. Only the company is required; person, role, email, LinkedIn and a note are optional.
How a saved radar works
Save as radar keeps the search, industry and update type you set in Market Intel, and it looks at the last 30 days. It checks for new matches when you open On Radar, at most once every 30 minutes. Mark all as read clears the dots. Removing a radar keeps the matches it already found. Saved radars start on Solo, and each plan has a limit on how many you keep.
Finding the right row
Search by person, title or company. The fit filter shows Strong fit (80 and up), Worth a look (60 and up) or everything scored, and the status filter picks New, Working, Replied, Won or Lost. The number on Due today counts what needs a look, so you see it without opening the list.
A worked example
You filter Market Intel to your main industry, set the update type to Funding and save it as a radar. Two days later a company in that industry that someone in your workspace scrolled past announces a round. It shows under New matches, with a dot on On Radar. You press Research, the contact it finds lands below, and you set the status to Working, yourself as owner and a follow-up date for Friday.
Common questions
Is On Radar a replacement for my CRM?
No. It's the layer before one: a status, an owner, a follow-up date and a note, with no stages or deal values. Qualified leads can go on to Odoo or into a CSV (see Exports and Odoo).
Can I use On Radar on Free?
Contacts still show on Free, but setting a status, an owner and a follow-up date starts on Solo. Saved radars do too.
What does Remove do on a contact?
It takes that contact off On Radar. The company research stays.
Do I need to press Save after editing?
No. Status, owner and date save the moment you change them, and the note saves as you type.
