Your first lead
Saving
Find a post about a company doing something — a raise, a launch, a shipping update. Click Save under it. The button confirms, and that is it.
You can add a label and a note at the same time. Both are optional and both are private to your workspace.
Save the post about the company, not the company's own post. Either works — the analysis identifies the company the post is about, not the account that wrote it. A news account reporting a raise is filed under the company that raised.
What happens next
Your lead appears immediately in the side panel and the dashboard, as the post you saved. Overnight it becomes a company record:
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| Company | The real company name, normalised. Handles, product names and model names all resolve to the company behind them |
| Website | The company's own domain, when it can be confirmed. Blank rather than guessed |
| Industry | One of 17 fixed buckets, so the column is filterable |
| What happened | Funding, launch, or shipping update |
| Summary | One line, so the row is scannable without opening the post |
The dashboard shows when the analysis last ran and how many posts are waiting. If that number is not moving, tell us — a stalled pipeline is our problem, not yours.
Analysis requires a paid plan. On the free plan your saves stay as posts, which is still a saved list — just without the company columns.
Working the list
- Labels group leads by whatever matters to you. Create them in Settings.
- Notes and remarks are free text. Remarks show in the table; notes are yours.
- Search runs across post text, author, company, notes and remarks — and it runs on the server, so it searches everything you have, not just what is on screen.
- Export gives you CSV on Power and Business.
Duplicates
Saving the same post twice updates the existing lead rather than creating a second one. On a shared workspace that applies across the team: if a colleague already saved it, the button shows it as saved and your click updates the same row. Two people cannot accidentally work the same company as two separate leads.
Deleting
The × on a lead removes it from your workspace immediately. The underlying public post stays in the shared pool, where it does not carry your name, your note or the fact that you ever saved it.
